David is a partner and head of the Advanced Manufacturing & Technology sector at international law firm Pinsent Masons. He specialises in providing clients with strategic advice on major UK and global commercial and outsourcing projects.

Independently recognised for his wealth of knowledge and experience, he was appointed Chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission in 2016 and served as Chair of Stonewall from 2003 to 2012. David was awarded a CBE in the 2011 Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to equality and diversity.

He was ranked 27th in the OUTstanding Top 100 LGBT executives published by the FT in October 2015 and recognised as a Diversity Role Model in the legal sector by The Lawyer in November 2015.
